Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot Headlines Speaker Roster
At Summer Meeting Of Legislators
From Gaming States, July 11-13 in Chicago

CHICAGO – Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot headlines an impressive roster of speakers who will participate in the Summer Meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), July 11-13 at the InterContinental Magnificent Mile. The NCLGS Summer Meeting is scheduled to be the first major US in-person gaming conference in more than a year.

Mayor Lightfoot, who is pursuing a nationally prominent agenda for the City of Chicago, is overseeing the recently opened opportunity to apply for the sole casino license in the country’s third-largest metropolitan market. The selected partner will be able to propose its optimal site for the project, pending the approval by the City. Chicago aims to welcome the new casino resort by 2025.
 
Mayor Lightfoot joins more than 25 experts will who appear before six legislative-chaired committees and two general session panels as well as in two keynote sessions. Confirmed speakers include:
