Registration is now open, and the agenda is posted, for the Summer Meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), which takes place July 7-10, 2022, at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.

As the only gaming conference that focuses on legislative decision-makers, dozens of lawmakers from across the country will be among the more than 200 expected attendees.

The four-day meeting will include six NCLGS Committee presentations, two general session panels, morning and luncheon keynote addresses, International Masters of Gaming Law Masterclasses, two evening networking receptions, and an off-site tour.

Committee meetings and general sessions, which are open to all attendees, will focus on all the critical issues facing gaming, from the expansion of sports betting, igaming and ilottery to taxation, compacts with tribal operators, and new land-based gaming operations. A special session coordinated by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas International Gaming Institute will focus on The Business Case for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Once again, the GLI Regulators Roundtable will co-locate with the NCLGS Summer Meeting, taking place July 7 at the Westin Copley Place.

The NCLGS semiannual meetings attract legislators, regulators, operators, suppliers, attorneys, lobbyists, media, and other stakeholders to discuss all aspects of regulated gaming. The meetings help state legislators from across the United States establish sound, effective gaming policies.

Last year’s Summer Meeting in Chicago had record attendance, including 40 legislators from 17 states.

Registration is open to the public; click here to view the agenda and registration options. Both NCLGS and the Westin Copley Place will be adhering to CDC, state and local guidelines that govern public events.

The hotel is in downtown Boston’s Back Bay area, with myriad dining and shopping nearby. Boston’s wealth of attractions – from the Old North Church to Fenway Park to Boston Symphony Hall – are within easy reach of the hotel.
